Parking – Payment Methods and Controlled Times:
Parking payments can be made using Pay-by-Phone or by Roadside machines.
Parking Controlled Times For Charges:
- Local charges apply Mon – Fri 09h00 – 17h00.
- No charge for parking between 17h00-09h00 Mon – Sat,
- No charge for parking all day Sunday.
Payments are per hour are banded by vehicle omissions:
- Band 1 (0-75g/km CO2) – £2.50 per hour,
- Band 2 (76-130g/km CO2) – £3.50 per hour,
- Band 3 (131-190g/km CO2) – £4.25 per hour,
- Band 4 (191+g/km CO2) – £5 per hour.
A diesel surcharge of £1 per hour will be applied to diesel vehicles in any of the above bands due to the extremely negative impact of diesel vehicles on air quality.
Pay-by-Phone Charges:
Parking charges for on-street pay and display bay are made through the RingGo pay-by-phone/e-parking payments.
Paying By Roadside Machines:
Roadside pay and display machine for payments are available and are for all fuel types:
- £6 per hour (£3 per half hour, £1.50 for 15mins).
