Royal Observatory Greenwich

The observatory is on the highest point in Greenwich. It is famous for the site of the prime meridian. There are cool exhibits on astronomy and the early scientists who pioneered these discoveries.

There is an admission fee. The views are fantastic. Prepare to hike up some steep paths – there is a longer path for those with accessibility requirements.

Stand at the centre of world time. Discover the past, present and future wonders of astronomy at the centre of time. Definitely a great walk into time and history.

Take an amazing journey through the historic home of British astronomy, Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian of the World.
