Elegant, modern and comfortable, fully furnished apartment located on the 2nd floor, in the heart of Brussels’ European District.

It has a bright living room with wide screen TV & sofa-bed. The separate kitchen is fully-equipped. Guests can use the laundry room. The bedroom area has a double bed, wardrobe & ensuite bathroom.

The building is a short walk from the European Commission, restaurants & bars, food markets & the area’s elegant green parks and close to all public transport.

The space
Elegant, modern & comfortable, fully furnished 63m2 apartment located on the second floor of a charming building serviced by elevator, located in the heart of Brussels’ European District.

The apartment is located inside a complex which comprises 16 apartments distributed on 4 floors. The distinctive and charming building is a single structure overlooking two streets, Rue des Patriotes and Rue Bordiau.

The one-bedroom apartment opens onto a very bright living room with large windows overlooking Rue des Patriotes and Rue Bordiau. Itis furnished with round glass table for 4, widescreen TV with digital decoder and stereo with CD player.

The living room sofa can convert into a sofa bed if needed. The stand-aside kitchenette is fully-equipped with 4 gas hobs, extractor hood, microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and refrigerator with small freezer. Guests can also use free of charge the floor laundry room, equipped with washing machine and dryer. These facilities are free to use whenever you need them. They are available on a first come, first serve basis.

The sleeping area, separated from the living room and kitchen, consists of a bedroom overlooking Rue Bordiau furnished with Queen-size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, and master bathroom with tub and shower curtain. The stand-alone toilet can be accessed directly from the living room without passing through the sleeping area.

The building is located in the heart of the European district, in an area that is exclusively residential. It is:
• 1-minute walk from the neighborhood’s green area, featuring Square Marguerite, with its outdoor basketball court; Square Ambiorix, elegant and very popular among joggers during lunchtime or in the evening, and, finally, Square Marie-Louise, with its beautiful pond,
• 2-minute walk from the Place des Chasseurs, with its charming farmers’ market, which takes place every Friday, and bars and restaurants serving as gathering places for cocktails and dinner for young people in Brussels;
• 3-minute walk from Rue Franklin and Rue Archimede, where restaurants, bars and cafes abound;
• 10-minute walk from Place Schuman, where the main buildings of the European Commission and the Council of Europe are located;
• 15-minute walk from Place de Luxembourg, where the European Parliament is situated.

Worthy of note is a mini market 10 meters from the building (opened every day except Saturday) which sells food, fruit and vegetables, tobacco and alcohol. The nearest supermarket is located at Place des Chasseurs and a very short walk from the building there is also a pharmacy opened every day except Sundays.

The residence is located 100 meters from bus stop 63, perfect for reaching both the Bruxelles Central Train station and Brussels’ historic centre, while from Place Schuman (about 800 meters) busses depart to the city’s National Airport (Zaventem). The Place Schuman metro station connects this area to the city centre.

Additional beds & linens:
When reserving this apartment for two (2) people your booking fees includes the 1 double bed in your bedroom, their linens & your towels (2 per person = 4 towels).

If you require two (2) separate beds for the 2 people staying in the apartment (bedroom double bed + sofa bed) then there will be an additional fee to pay for the 2nd bed and linen set.

If you are three (3) people we provide 2 beds, which includes the bedroom double bed and the living room sofa bed. These are included in the price.

If you require three (3) separate beds for the 3 or 4 people staying in the apartment (bedroom double bed + sofa bed + single air bed) then there will be an additional fee to pay for the 3rd bed and linen set.

Our Apartment:
The apartment provides many essential items to ensure you have a hassle free start to your stay. Do remember this is a self-catering apartment.

For Your Stay:
We provide laundered & ironed linens, towels, tea towel, kitchen cloth, toiletries inc, body wash, shampoo & hand wash. We provide tea, coffee, coffee machine filters, sugar and most importantly great ‘free’ wifi for use throughout your stay.

Essential Arrival Supplies:
We also provide ‘Essential Arrival Supplies’ such as toilet, kitchen towel papers & bin bags. If these items require replenishment during your stay you will need to replace them. If they do not run out during your stay you do not need to replace them. We will replace them after your stay.

Supplies Not Provided:
We do not provide dishwasher tablets or washing machine tablets. Please do remember there is no charge for using our washing machine & dryer (situated in communal area).

The dimensions are, inside – 63m2 (670sq feet).
The apartment is maintained by our Housekeeper & Co-ordinator extraordinaire, who prepares it immediately after the guests check out and it’s therefore available 24/7.

We use a safe key system for storing the apartment keys, which means you will have ‘no hassle’ access regardless of your time of arrival.

We are available 24/7 if you have any urgent needs, which you must address immediately. We provide full mobile, email and contact details once you’ve booked the apartment.

Guest access
The apartment located in Central Bruxelles, minutes from the EU, is on the 2nd floor. We have continuously improved the apartment and its facilities with you, our guests, in mind. Our aim is to provide you with a fantastic home-from-home experience.

Access once inside our building complex is obtained by taking the lift to the second floor. From here you pass through a private front door, which leads you directly into the apartment. We have lights in the communal hallway areas. So for those arriving after dark access is very easy and safe.

There are two steps from the walkway to the apartment front door. So those arriving with prams or heavy luggage will have relatively straightforward and easy access into the apartment. Alas, the apartment access is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Once inside access to all rooms is on same level. It is very easy to move around when you are inside the apartment.

Access to the apartment is obtained through a set of keys, which are stored in a key safe inside the building complex, situated by the street front door & easily accessible.

Details for these are provided once the booking is confirmed and well in advance of your visit.

Other details to note
The apartment is available for short, medium or long-term letting and ideally suits business people, visitors, small groups or families with young babies or children on holiday. You can book for short, medium and long term rental periods. We really don’t mind.
