The House is maintained by our delightful Housekeeper & Co-ordinator extraordinaire from Best4Guests, who prepares it immediately after the guests check out. It’s therefore available 24/7. I use a key safe system for storing the house keys, which means you have no hassle access regardless of your time of arrival.

We are available 24/7 if you have any urgent needs, which you must address immediately. I provide full mobile, email & What’s App contact details once you have booked the house.

Guest Access
Access to the house is obtained through a set of keys, which are stored in a key safe and easily accessible for guests. Details for these are provided in our Welcome Pack once the booking is confirmed and approximately 2 weeks in advance of your visit.

This explains how to reach the house by planes, trains and automobiles as well as many local places you can visit, eat, drink or go to during your visit.
Access is straightforward and easy. So with this in mind we do meet you on arrival unless requested by you.

The house located in Ravenscourt Gardens, is on three (3) floors. Access via the front door from Ravenscourt gardens into the main entrance where the house unfolds before you.

There is one low step from street level to the main front door, which leads you to the house. So those arriving with prams, wheelchairs or heavy luggage will have straightforward and easy access into the house.
Once inside access to the living, dining’s rooms, kitchen and patio garden are straightforward as they are on the ground floor. The bedrooms are on floors two (2) and three (3). So it may not be straightforward for people with mobility issues to move around the upper floors. Please ask for more details.

Interaction with Guests
We are available 24/7 if you have any urgent needs, which need addressing immediately. We provide full mobile, email and IM contact details on booking.

We’ll email you the morning after check in to ensure all went well. After this, if you need us please contact us.

We also provide guests with ‘Our local guide to Chiswick’ two weeks before they arrive. This explains how to reach the tment by planes, trains and automobiles as well as many local places you can visit, eat, drink or go to during your visit.

We hope we have provided everything you will need for a fabulous stay, and we would love to hear from you if you do come up with more ways that we can provide an even better stay for you the next time.

Other Things to Note
The house is available for short or long-term letting and ideally suits business people, visitors, small groups or families with young babies or children on holiday. You can book for short, medium or long term rental periods.

The Neighbourhood
The house is located in Chiswick W6 and it’s within walking distance or short cab journey to many of London’s sights, from the River Thames to Fulham Road to London’s luxurious Kings Road to Harrods Depositary to Kew Gardens to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park to Holland Park & Westfield’s Shepard’s Bush.

The Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, London Eye, West End, London’s theatre land and the City of London are but 20-25 minutes by tube.

There are lots of shops in Hammersmith & Chiswick and the best grocery stores nearby are Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s, (5 minute walk) and Marks & Spencer.

Chiswick, Hammersmith Riverside & High Street Kensington have a veritable feast of international & ethnic restaurants, pubs and cafes.

For those looking for late nightlife there are a number of clubs on High Street Kensington & Knightsbridge if you’d rather not travel to the West End.

For those who enjoy walking there is a fantastic walk along the Thames River from Putney Bridge to Hammersmith Bridge and back again, which passes by Harrods Depository, London Wetland Nature Reserve Bishops Park & the Riverside Studios.

For the Premier League loving football fans the tment is located approximately 20 minutes from Chelsea FC & 15 minutes Fulham FC but far enough away that you are not troubled by the noise or the marching army of fans making their way to and from the grounds.

Getting Around
The timings given here are for if you are going slowly but if you walk at a faster pace, the time will be less.

There is an abundance of public transport (bus, cabs, trains & tubes) within 0-10 minutes that provides access to local, national & international travels (trains, planes & automobiles), London’s many historic and beautiful attractions.

The house is located on a secluded road in W6 London, noise is low and there is plenty of street parking (meter payments) directly outside for those wishing to arrive by and use their car during their stay. There is parking, in the streets directly outside the tment. This is chargeable at £2.20 per hour Monday – Friday 09h00-17h00. Outside of these times there is no charge for parking.

World wide web Just Park is the Airbnb parking equivalent and will offer great bargains in the area. Why not check this out if arriving by car?

There are half a dozen Barclays Cycle Hire locations within 10 minutes walking distance from the tment for those wishing to have a leisurely cycle around the capital. There are half a dozen plus ZIP car hire points & an Avis
Car rental office again within 10 minute walk for those requiring cars.
